From 23 to 27 February 2025, cultural education organizations from 12 countries met in Hungary for the seminar “CABY25: Connecting Art-Based Youthwork”. RRCGN and the ROOTS & ROUTES International Association had jointly invited to #CABY25. The event provided a space for representatives of the participating organizations to share insights, explore other approaches and jointly develop ideas for potential future projects. A key aim was to strengthen the international ROOTS & ROUTES network by forging new partnerships and promoting potential collaborations.

On February 26, after the end of the seminar program, the general meeting of the ROOTS & ROUTES International Association also took place, where we were delighted to welcome three new members to the network: Tempus Fugit Theatre (Lörrach, Germany), Visual Voices (Nicosia, Cyprus) and City of Women (Ljubljana, Slovenia).

With fruitful discussions, inspiring moments of exchange and new ideas for the future, CABY25 was a significant step towards not only strengthening international collaboration in arts-based youth work, but also advancing artistic exchange and the broader mission of the ROOTS & ROUTES network. We look forward to seeing how these new connections and ideas develop in the future!
