Performing Arts & Intersectionality: Stronger Together – Day 1

„Stronger together – empowerment against racism through dance“ a new workshop from the „Performing Arts & Intersectionality“-workshop series which will take place on Saturday, the 14th of May from 2pm to 6pm and on Sunday, the 15th of May from 11am to 5pm.

The workshop targets people that have experienced racism before and invites for an artistic exchange through dance. Within the safer space we will empower each other with our bodies. Hip-Hop Culture stems from an era of oppression and has nowadays become a worldwide symbol for freedom, expression, empowerment and joy of life.

As an experienced hip hop coach, dancer and choreographer Dany Mba will introduce you with movements and methods from this dancing culture, so that they can be internalized and then freely played with. Pure and authentic and without any judgement. The goal is the training of our own self-perception, the training of acceptance and a gaining of security that can be transported to the external world after.
