Performing Arts & Intersectionality: the embodied safe-space. Day 2
19. December 2021 , 10:00 – 16:00

Performance-Workshop with Tänzer und Choreograph Mohamed Boujarra
Together with the participants i will hold the space and activate it with them. This space can be a workshop/ thinktank/ ceremony / salon / kiki / rave/ library/ … whatever you (the participant) wish it to be. The way you get authority in this democratic decision is by sharing with me the responsibility of the moment. The joy of the moment! Guide me! Teach me! Say that you love me!
I will come with my knowledge and experience and share my practice called “the embodied safe-space”.
Simomo – The Private Dancer – moves, moves you, and is moved by you, in many different contexts, environments, (inside/ouside) and (non)professional spaces. Simomo holds space and helps you activate it collectively. With diverse (cultural, professional, moving) skills that find origins from Morocco to here. With a varied dance background they transform the environment in whatever you and Simomo decided it to be. A jukebox full of different movement philosophies thats what they are. By taking your responsibility for your own interest simomo will be offering you the Juice baby!
The Workshop will take two days, Saturday the 18th from 14:30 until 19:30 and Sunday the 19th from 10:00 until 16:00
(final times may still vary)
