I can say that having the RRCGN Space to ourselves has made our creative process smooth and being able to use the equipment and the environment has given us the chance to create spontaneously, without thinking much about things. So, our songs felt nice to make and to record- and now I listen to them, they make me feel happy.
We even used stomping sounds as kick drum in a couple of songs so I can say that we used the space effectively- we even played the ground as an instrument! 😀

Compared to the other ones, this residency gave us a lot more responsibilities and it made the entire two weeks feel more like it belonged to us and I personally prefer this to any scheduled activity.
Even though I enjoy the other projects, especially Baltrum where we get to cook and clean our environment ( I enjoy it very much! :] ) – this one felt a bit more special as everything was up to us.
We decided on what to do and how to do it, we had to keep track of our own time
We were responsible for everything and it definitely gave us a lot of freedom.
The similarity for me was the fact that I needed to create with others- the fact that this project wasn’t a solo project made it similar to the projects that I’ve participated in before.

For me, the highlights or the most inspiring moments were both when we just drank tea and had conversations about life and general things as a group.
These moments fueled my brain and as I got to know my friends better and better, the desire to create with them also got bigger.
Also when we were creating and recording spontaneously- I was feeling the inspiration bubbling up and letting itself out of me/us.
And thanks to the space, the resources and our overall freedom of creation- my inspirations always found a way to pour out of me.

From time to time we had the chance to speak with the RRCGN Team! :]]
And sometimes we had some other friends visiting, having conversations, catching up…
I think all of these interactions gave us a sense of a communal feeling and that was one of the biggest supporting factors that helped us create as an international trio :]
The community
The sincerity
The support & the sweetness! <3

I would tell whoever would think of applying thattt being with RRCGN is always leaving a mark on a person’s life.
It is always a life changing experience.
Always inspiring.
So if anyone ever has the chance of applying for a project that is hosted by Roots and Routes or their partner organisations I would definitely recommend it.
Meeting this beautiful organisation and its people is definitely one of the best things that happened to me.
I am glad that I am lucky enough to keep coming back and participating.
Everytime that I meet you guys is changing my life drastically & in beautiful ways.

I am happy to know you
I am happy to have been a part of this project as well as the ones before.
