Daniela Rodriguez Romero
Daniela is a freelance choreographer, urban dance educator, and sports scientist. With the nutrospektif collective, she has already rocked some great projects (such as “Street to Stage”) with us, which have produced various professional dancers. Daniela taught at the Institute for Dance and Movement Culture at the German Sport University Cologne from 2010 to 2020 and was awarded the Teaching Prize for Lecturers in 2015. Starting in September 2026, she will be the artistic and educational director of the Urban Pro vocational training program (MSGR Academy, Stuttgart), which trains and professionalizes urban dancers.
What comes to mind when you think of RRCGN?
RRCGN brings to mind a long history for me. I participated as a dancer in the first ROOTS & ROUTES project in Cologne in 2005, and over the years I’ve been involved as a coach in several different formats.
My highlight was the collaborative work made possible by the Street to Stage I–III project—Urban Research, Urban Progress, and Urban Production.
