After 20 years in the international youth encounter work we have developed in the project “OASES for Change – Organising Artistic-Self-Empowerment Spaces” in international cooperation quality criteria, guidelines and practical tools which we will present on May 25th in Cologne.
New look, new swing, new rooms – on the 1st of October 2021 there is reason to celebrate, and you’re more than invited!
ROOTS & ROUTES has won three prizes in recent weeks: One at the NRW competition “Europe at home”, two at the NRW Youth Culture Prize.
On July 2, 2021, the first iJuLa youth lab will open with an open day: In Herthastraße in Cologne-Zollstock, there will be a stage program, participatory activities, coffee, and cake from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
After 28 months, the project “DeTalks – Creative and Inclusive Non-Verbal Education” ended New Year’s Eve 2020.
The annual RRCGN general meeting had to be held as an online conference for the first time.
2019 was an exciting year with many exciting projects, we thank all participants, artists, partners and supporters!
2020 could be even better.
At the annual general meeting of the ROOTS & ROUTES International Association (RRIA) in Marseille on Thursday (12 September), Janna Hadler, content lead at RRCGN, was elected as one of two RRIA Vice Presidents.
The city’s youth welfare committee decided that ROOTS & ROUTES Cologne e. V. will receive regular funding as a specialised cultural education institution.
At the Youth Culture Award NRW, RRCGN won the young.europe.award with the project “The Roots & Routes Experience 2017”.
ROOTS & ROUTES Cologne e. V. was founded on 4 December.
