42 young artists, eight participating countries, 14 days of artistic encounter and two unique stage shows in Cologne: The ROOTS & ROUTES Experience (RRXP) is back!
As every year, the #RRXP in 2026 is an intensive, open process. Within two weeks of creative collaboration, the young artists from all over Europe completely determine the content of their piece themselves. From the most diverse disciplines and intercultural perspectives, a shared, powerful stage work thus emerges.
On August 04 and 05, this year’s performance “3 Million Years of Rain” will premiere at the Alte Feuerwache in Cologne. The piece intensely explores the tension between desire and nonsense. In a lively, 90-minute stage show, longings and visions are intertwined with lightness, surreal imagery, and absurdities to create an unpredictable spectacle.
