It is with great pleasure that we can announce that our queer youth music festival Kölnchella 2024 is imminent.
After two years of Kölnchella and a total of six larger and smaller events, this year we are celebrating Cologne’s queer youth culture in a great indoor location with great artists and DJs. The overall theme of the entire event is #businesscore and will be a playful take on contemporary work culture.
Artists douniah (Morocco/Germany), Liza Dries (Netherlands), Dornika (Iran/US-America), author Salma Kay Matter (Switzerland) and a DJ program with finibaggies, gundilicious, kriminelly and strugglingfemme.
When? 1.6.2024, from 18:00 reading, from 19:00 music program
Where? Nippes-Altenberger Hof community center, Mauenheimer Str. 92, 50733 Cologne
Who? Everyone who enjoys music and a good mood
Accessibility?The event is designed to be as accessible as possible; the location is at ground level and wheelchair-accessible toilets are available.
There will be communication assistance in German sign language to support the reading/presentation. Lighting effects will be used for some live acts; a corresponding strobe light warning will be issued in advance.
