Great news for ROOTS & ROUTES Cologne e. V.: Our project, the intersectional youth magazine sec*, which was published in two issues as part of iJuLa, is featured as a winner in the newly released Dieter Baacke Prize Handbook!

Under the title “Taking a Stand, Shaping Society”, the Society for Media Education and Communication Culture (GMK) has published the new handbook, which compiles outstanding media education projects as best-practice examples. The fact that sec* is recognized in it as an exemplary project underscores the importance of our work at the intersection of media literacy, political education, and digital participation.

The handbook offers valuable insights for professional practice and demonstrates how creative media work empowers young people to actively contribute their voices to society. We are proud to be part of this publication and look forward to presenting you with a copy in our space in Cologne-Zollstock!
