I met ROOTS & ROUTES back in 2022 and they have shown me what it feels like to be supported by a community. As an artist, especially growing up- I often felt like I didn’t fit in. But thanks to their projects I found a space to be myself without feeling like an outsider. And this has changed my perspectives about everything.

All of my experiences with ROOTS & ROUTES have given me opportunities to understand myself both as an artist and a human being. And I keep growing in ways that I wouldn’t be able to anticipate. I am forever grateful and I will always be thankful for Roots and Routes and all the beautiful creative people that I met thanks to them.
