On 2nd of July 2021, the first creative lab in the project “iJuLa – intersectional youth labs in the Veedel” opened at Herthastraße 50 in Cologne-Zollstock. Here, interested youths and young adults can work artistically on intersectional topics: Sexual and gender diversity/queerness, racism, the intersectional interaction of forms of discrimination …

The iJuLa project has been accompanied by a group of currently almost 30 young artists* since June 2020: The iJuLa Young Curators. This group helps plan what the space looks like and what happens inside. If you would like to join us, just come to the space and get to know us; for example, you can first join a project group and then later become a member of the iJuLa board of curators.
