In our society, recognition is often awarded on the basis of material wealth, formal education, German language skills and appearance. We invited young people to reflect on the topic of “recognition” and to work on it artistically.

Open taster workshops are followed by a 3-month group process in which small video clips and a small performance were created.
he Re:Cognition dance and music workshops took place every Tuesday and Thursday from 19:00 to 21:30 at youth centre Luckys Haus, Am Bilderstöckchen 58a in 50739 Cologne.
